Acai-Pom Slushie

Slurp it down!

Acai-Pom Slushie Recipe
Makes 1 serving. 

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup acai juice
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions:
  1. Toss all ingredients in the blender.
  2. Blend, serve and enjoy.
This drink is a slushie because it comes out with an icy consistency. Slushies are great for refreshment on hot summer days!

Guardians of the Galaxy Smoothie

A wild combo like the Guardians of the Galaxy


Guardians of the Galaxy Smoothie Recipe
Makes 1 serving. 

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup acai juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 3/4 cup frozen kiwi
  • 1/4 yogurt
Instructions:
  1. Toss all ingredients in the blender.
  2. Blend, serve and enjoy.
If you don't know who Star-Lord is, you need to go see the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. This smoothie is a crazy combination that surprisingly work great together, much like Guardians of the Galaxy team in the film.

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup carrot juice
  • 1/4 cup acai juice
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
Instructions:
  1. Toss all ingredients in the blender.
  2. Blend, serve and enjoy.

Mango Madness Smoothie Recipe
Makes 1 serving. 

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup acai juice
  • 1 cup frozen mango
Instructions:
  1. Toss all ingredients in the blender.
  2. Blend, serve and enjoy.

Pomegranate juice is such a sweet, flavorful and antioxidant-rich element that I recommend you keep your fridge stocked with it at all times! Instead of acai juice, you could always use unsweetened almond milk or orange juice in this recipe.

Tropical Storm Smoothie

Tropical Storm Smoothie Recipe
Makes 1 serving. 

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup acai juice
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
Instructions:
  1. Toss all ingredients in the blender.
  2. Blend, serve and enjoy.

Blend well to avoid stringy pineapple! This is a great way to fill your body with antioxidants first thing in the morning.

Easy Acai Blast Smoothie

Super, yet simple!

Easy Acai Blast Smoothie Recipe
Makes 1 serving. 

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup acai juice
  • 1.5 frozen bananas
Instructions:
  1. Add ingredients to blender.
  2. Blend, serve and enjoy.

It's almost school season and all of a sudden you have a thousand things to do! Can't be bothered to put together a complicated drink? Throw in these two ingredients and - sooner than you can say "acai blast!" - you're done!

For this recipe, I used Sambazon Acai Juice, which you can find in the refrigerated juices section of your local grocery store. To add some protein to this drink, simply toss in 1 Tbs chia seeds and let the drink sit for a few minutes before drinking.

Acai Berry Boost

A great picker-upper for post-lunch or pre-workout!

Acai Berry Boost Smoothie Recipe
Makes 1 serving. 

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup acai juice
  • 3/4 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/3 cup frozen strawberries
Instructions:
  1. Toss all ingredients in blender. 
  2. Blend, serve and enjoy.
Be sure to rinse strawberries and blueberries well before freezing overnight. For this recipe I used Sambazon Acai Juice and Pom 100% Pomegranate Juice.

Acai Berry Smoothie Recipe
Makes 1 serving. 

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 packet frozen acai juice
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana

Instructions:
  1. Toss all ingredients in blender.
  2. Blend, serve and enjoy.
